Participants live for 6 days in a multi-story, 102,000 square foot facility experiencing theme-park style thrills surrounded by advanced technology, flight simulators, and virtual reality games that ignite imagination and encourage learning.
National Naval Aviation Museum – The National Naval Aviation Museum is the world’s largest Naval Aviation museum and one of the most-visited museums in the state of Florida. Share the excitement of Naval Aviation’s rich history and see more than 150 beautifully restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Aviation. These historic and one-of-a-kind aircraft are displayed both inside the Museum’s nearly 350,000 square feet of exhibit space and outside on its 37-acre grounds. There’s so much to see and do, you’ll want to stay all day! Admission is free! Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s.

Pensacola Lighthouse – The top of the tower offers stunning views of Pensacola Pass (where Pensacola Bay meets the Gulf of Mexico), three forts, the Pensacola skyline and the historic Navy Yard. The fully restored Keepers’ Quarters, built in 1869, is home to a museum and a gift shop. Visit this historic spot in America’s First Settlement, established in 1559.
Pensacola M.E.S.S. Hall – Math, Engineering, Science & Stuff. The Pensacola MESS Hall is not a typical science museum. Rather than exhibits with planned outcomes, visitors get to work like real scientists, developing questions and creating experiments, engaging in complex reasoning and learning science just through tinkering. Sunriser Stables – A family friendly show barn specializing in hunters, jumpers, and equitation. Lessons are customized to the individual’s riding level allowing each rider to progress at their own pace. Our objective is to build the rider’s confidence by developing a solid horse riding foundation both under saddle and on the ground.
The Pensacola Children’s Museum – This hands-on exploration of Pensacola history is geared for children age 10 and younger. The first floor Discovery Gallery recreates colonial life in Pensacola. The second floor explores Pensacola’s military, maritime, industrial, multicultural, Native American and Civil War history. Plenty of play area is located on each floor. Our museum store, located on the first floor, is the go-to place for children’s books and toys including Historic Pensacola branded wooden toys from Melissa and Doug. The first floor Party Central room, in which storytelling and special activities are held, is available as a venue for private birthday parties.
Tivoli High House – The first floor of the Tivoli House serves as a ticket outlet and museum store offering unique Historic Pensacola items, books, souvenirs and refreshments. Reconstructed from photographic and archaeological evidence for Pensacola’s bicentennial in 1976, the original 1805 Tivoli House was once a boarding and gaming house and tavern. To the east of the original structure was a large octagonal theatre and ballroom that served as a meeting place for early Pensacolians.
T.T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum – Our flagship museum is the T. T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum, which is housed in the three-story Mediterranean Revival architecture of the former Pensacola City Hall and was built in 1907. The Wentworth Museum, a highlight of the self-guided tour, is a general history museum with galleries dedicated to both permanent and changing exhibits. The first floor houses the Wentworth Store and ticket desk. The museum is open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings from 4 until 7 p.m. and on Sundays from noon until 4 p.m. for Half-Price Sundays.
Veterans Memorial Park and Wall South – In December of 1987 the “Moving Wall,” a half scale replica of the National Vietnam Memorial in our Nation’s Capital, came to Pensacola. It was a hugely profound and moving experience for our city. It attracted a large throng of visitors, including local Vietnam veterans. When time came for the Wall to move on many of the Vietnam veterans who had stood vigil at the Wall decided that Pensacola should have a permanent replica of this memorial to honor those who had fallen in that conflict. For five years the Vietnam Veterans of Northwest Florida held garage sales, 5K and 10K runs, baseball and softball tourneys, car washes and numerous other fund raisers to make their dream a reality.
Voices of Pensacola – Opened in 2014, this multicultural center highlights the diversity of the city through dynamic exhibits representative of the cultural groups that have shaped Pensacola history. Visitors to the Voices of Pensacola can watch and listen to videos of individuals telling their unique Pensacola story as well as shop for unique gifts in our museum store The space also includes an oral history recording room where additional stories can be recorded and archived. Pensacola Cinema Art screens films in the Voices of Pensacola on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 1:00 and on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00.
