Recently I had the opportunity to try the southern fare at Union Public House located at 309 S. Reus Street, downtown Pensacola near the Wahoos Stadium. My best friend and her husband had been hearing great things about the restaurant so we decided to check it out. We arrived at 4:30 Saturday evening and were presented with a “cold” menu and informed that the “warm” menu wouldn’t be available until 5:00. We decided to get started with some specialty cocktails and the Beef Fillet Carpaccio, Fried Capers, Shaved Parmesan, Garlic Aioli, Parm, Pickled Cipollini ($12).
