Tickets now available for Pensacola Children’s Chorus’s (PCC) – Showtime, the best of stage and screen! Reserve your tickets for PCC’s third and final concert of the season, scheduled to debut at the Saenger Theatre, May 6, 7 and 2, 2022.
The music of this concert is star-studded, to stay the least. The show opens with a moving tribute to the late Stephen Sondheim, a lauded musical theatre composer who wrote the likes of Into the Woods and contributed lyrics to West Side Story. Many audience members will also recognize many singable classics by the likes of Journey, Queen, Van Halen, and Whitney Houston in a get-on-your-feet medley of iconic 80s music. The centerpiece for the performance will be PCC’s iconic and heartwarming tribute to the U.S. armed forces.
“The best thing about Showtime is its musical variety,” says Alex Gartner, Artistic & Executive Director. “This concert routinely features music that appeals to the masses, and this year’s is no exception. We even have an entire set devoted to Encanto, and for that, we apologize in advance, parents! But from that to the 80s and so much more, there is plenty of music for everyone.”
Tickets to view the production in person are on sale beginning March 21 and can purchased by visiting the Saenger Theatre Box Office or www.Ticketmaster.com. Tickets range from $15.00 to $41.00. For additional information or to purchase streaming, please visit www.PensacolaSings.org
