Residents and visitors on Perdido Key and the west side of Pensacola can enjoy an eclectic mixture of southern fare, Cajun style favorites and St. Louis ribs at Butch’s Bistro and BBQ. Located in Perdido Key Plaza at 13118 Sorrento Road, across from the Winn Dixie shopping center, Butch’s is open Monday through Wednesday from 11 to 7, Thursday through Saturday from 11 to 8, and they’re closed on Sunday.
There is an amazing variety of appetizers to choose from including Boudin Balls, BBQ Egg Rolls, Fries Poutine (with gravy and cheese or pork, cheese and BBQ sauce), homemade hummus and wings just to name a few. You’ll find the usual burgers, salads, po’ boys and subs in addition to specialty sandwiches like the brunch burger (patty, bacon, cheese and an egg) or the delightfully named KRACKEN (patty, smoked pork, bacon, cheese, pickles and BBQ sauce) if you have a big appetite to unleash. If you’ve got a family to feed you can pick up a party pack of pulled pork, brisket, or a slab and wings.
From Thursday evening through Saturday Butch’s also serves up St. Louis style ribs that have my mouth watering just thinking about them! They are seriously the best ribs I’ve had in ages, seasoned to perfection and falling off the bone tender. Served dry with sauce on the side they are delicious whether you add the sauce or not so grab a plate, combo platter or slab of ribs and try them your way. Even if you’re not on the west side these ribs are definitely worth a trip across town!
Daily specials and homemade desserts are also worth trying out, I highly recommend Pam’s Peanut Butter Fudge pie. You can dine in or call ahead at (850) 492-0007 to place a takeout order. While you’re visiting Butch’s be sure to also check out the delightful local artwork adorning the walls that is available for sale.

We went there on our first night of our vacation and went back EVERY DAY!
Butch & Pams creations are full of their own personal desire for perfection and it definitely shows. Not only is the food very good, they are a total class act. Treat yourself today.
Everything was great except the potatoe salad it taste like the kind you get out of the deli and they need some good homemade hot BBQ sauce and add some celery seed and white wine vinegar to the slaw and a touch of sugar and green onions and leave out the rest of that stuff but over all the food is good and a great price
