Known as “The Cradle of Naval Aviation” we have a proud military heritage here in Pensacola, Florida and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have served. In honor of Veterans on Veterans Day (Friday, November 11, 2016), many local businesses including popular restaurants and retailers are providing free meals and special discounts to veterans and their families. Check out the great list of offers below and don’t forget to come out and enjoy the 2016 NAS Pensacola Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show on Friday and Saturday!

Applebee’s – Join us on Veterans Day this year as we honor our Veterans and Active Duty military with a free meal. Participating restaurants only. Entrée selection may vary by location. Proof of military service required. Dine-in only.

BJ’s Restaurants & Brewhouse – BJ’s will be giving free meals to veterans on Friday, November 11, 2016, valued up to $12.95. Plus $5 BJ’s beers for everyone. A military ID or other proof of service is required.

Chili’s – Join us on Veterans Day as we honor our Active Military Personnel and Veterans with a free entrée. Offer valid from select menu at participating locations on Friday, 11/11 only.

Chuck E. Cheese’s – Get a free pizza on Veterans Day! To thank service members past and present on Veterans Day, November 11, Chuck E. Cheese’s will be offering one free personal pizza to all active and retired military members at participating locations. Print this coupon or show it on your mobile device.

Denny’s – Our nation’s veterans have made immeasurable sacrifices to protect our lives and freedom. Denny’s wants to honor them this Veterans Day. Denny’s invites veterans in on Friday, November 11th, from 5am to 12pm for a free Grand Slam. All Denny’s locations are participating in this promotion and you’ll just need to bring a valid military ID along with you. This is for dine-in only.

IHOP – This Veterans Day, we’re celebrating Vets and Active Duty Military with a FREE short stack of our Red, White & Blue Pancakes. It’s our honor for us to serve you. Offer only valid for Veterans and Active Duty Military. Available at participating restaurants only. Military ID or proof of service is required. Some restrictions may apply. Krispy Kreme – A free doughnut and small coffee will be given to anyone who identifies themselves as a veteran or active military personnel (no ID required) on Veterans Day. Offer valid November 11, 2016 at participating US Krispy Kreme stores only* and is subject to product availability (which may vary by market). No purchase necessary. No coupon required. Limit one offer per guest per visit. Valid in store only. Not valid in drive-through. Not valid with any other offer. LongHorn Steakhouse – LongHorn Steakhouse will give away a free appetizer or dessert with no purchase necessary and no restrictions to anyone with military ID. They’ll also give a 10 percent discount off dine-in tickets. You’ll need to bring proof of service with you for this freebie such as wearing your uniform or showing Military ID.

O’Charley’s – We support our troops. That’s why this Veterans Day on Friday, November 11th we’re giving away a FREE $9.99er entree to any veteran or active duty military personnel. Choices include the Famous Chicken Tenders & Fries, Honey Drizzled Southern-Fried Chicken, Homestyle Chicken Pot Pie, and more. On top of that, we’re partnering with The Folded Flag Foundation where for each 22 oz. draft beer purchased, a portion of the proceeds will be donated up to $75,000.

Olive Garden – Olive Garden will offer a free entrée for a special menu to veterans as well as those on active-duty. The entrees also include soup or salad and breadsticks. You’ll need to verify with Olive Garden that you currently are or used to be in the military. Proof of military service usually includes bringing your military ID, U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, or Veterans Organization Card.

Outback Steakhouse – Free Bloomin’ Onion & Coca-Cola for active and retired military on Friday, November 11, 2016 with show of Military ID. 15% off for military families November 12 – December 31, 2016.

Publix – As a small way to show our gratitude for your service, veterans, military personnel, and their families are invited to save 10% on groceries on November 11, 2016. This offer excludes prescriptions, alcohol, tobacco, gift cards, lottery tickets, postage stamps, and money services. Customer is responsible for all applicable taxes. Please present one of the following at purchase: Veteran ID card, military ID card, discharge document, or a driver’s license with veteran designation.

Red Lobster – Everyone who has served in the armed forces deserves our thanks. Active duty military, reserve, and military veterans can stop by Red Lobster and get a free appetizer or dessert on Thursday, November 10 and Friday, November 11, 2016.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers – On Veterans Day, we are honoring those who serve and have served with a FREE Tavern Double Burger with Bottomless Steak Fries. Stop in to a participating location and share your pics with #RRVetsDay.

Texas Roadhouse – In honor of your service to our country, we are saying thank you with a free lunch from our special Veterans menu where Veterans can select from one of 10 free entrees, plus your choice of iced tea, sweet tea, soft drink or coffee. Active, former or retired military only. Please show your server proof of military service. Dine-in only, offer does not include beer and alchohol.

TGI Fridays – TGI Fridays will be having free lunch for all veterans and active-duty military on Friday, November 11, 2016, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This offer is valid at participating locations only, and is only valid after a military ID is shown for proof of service.
