If you’re in the mood for some spooktacular fun this Halloween there are lots of great things to do in the Pensacola area for kids and adults alike. Two local landmarks, the Pensacola Lighthouse and the old Sacred Heart Hospital, have a reputation for being haunted and both will be providing historical haunted tours for the entire family. There will be haunted house walking and trolley tours through North Hill and Pensacola’s largest haunted house will be held on the last three weekends of October and Halloween night at the Hadji Shrine. Additionally, there will be eight nights of terrifying nightmares on a 100 year old farm located on 2 acres of haunted land known as The Purgatorium. Great themed trick-or-treating events will be held downtown, at the Naval Aviation Museum and along the Pensacola Beach pier where you will also find carnival games, live music, performance artists and door prizes. Thrill seekers can enjoy unlimited rides with trick-or-treating at every ride in Sam’s Spooky City and runners can get into costume and have a blast at the 2nd Annual Bogeyman Run.

Haunted Lighthouse Tour – A fun, friendly and frightful event for the entire family, based on a traditional haunted house. You can visit the haunted lighthouse the last two weekends of October or on Halloween. Wear your costumes!
Horror Hospital – First City Shakespeare and the Southeastern Teen Shakespeare Company present a Halloween performance event on six different days in the old Sacred Heart hospital at 12th and Gonzalez in East Hill that enjoys a reputation for being haunted. But don’t expect a haunted house with jump scares. This is part historical tour and part live performance.
The Haunted Carnival & Kids Carnival on the Pier – Local businesses will be lining the Pensacola Beach pier with carnival games, Halloween candy, and more! Experience freak shows, fire breathers, gypsies, fortune tellers, pure arial acts, custome and body modifications contests, live music, door prizes and more!
Halloween at the Museum – Experience a free, fun-filled, family-friendly Halloween event at the 18th Annual Halloween at the Naval Aviation Museum from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. Ghouls and ghosts of all ages are encouraged to dress up in costume and explore the Museum’s 350,000 square feet of exhibit space. Trick-or-treat stations will be located throughout the Museum.
Haunted House Walking and Trolley Tours – Choose one of our walking tours or try a trolley tour through old North Hill. Adults Only Redlight Walking Tour: Learn about Pensacola’s historic redlight light district along Palafox Street. Murder and Mayhem Walking Tour: Hear about the ghosts of Pensacola’s most haunted street. Seville Spirits Walking Tour: Meet the ghosts who haunt Seville Square. Or, try the Trolley of the Doomed: Travel to North Hill to hear about the ghosts of these historic homes.
Hadji Haunted House – Are you ready to experience Pensacola’s largest haunted house? The Hadji Haunted House is bigger and better than last year. With 23 rooms and over 8,000 sq ft. of terrifyingly haunted space, Hadji Haunted House is a must visit this Halloween. Once again they’ve have teamed up with the Pensacola Breast Cancer Association to create a terrifyingly fun haunt.
The Purgatorium Haunted Attraction – There will be eight themed nights of terrifying nightmares on a 100 year old farm located on 2 acres of haunted land located on the west side of Pensacola.
The 2nd Annual Bogeyman Run – The 2nd Annual Bogeyman 10K/5K and 1.5 Adventure run starts and finishes at the Casino Beach Pavillion. The first 250 to sign up will get a Quarter Zip Longsleeve Tech shirt. There will be FREE BEER & FOOD at Casino Beach Bar & Grille (just past the finish line-on the Beach), plus music by DJ Blaze, tons of door prizes and custom age group medals for all events! ALL Races will start at 8:30AM. Halloween Costumes are encouraged.
Downtown Trick or Treat 2016 – Join us for the annual Downtown Trick or Treat! This crowd favorite event will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 4-6 p.m. Young children and their families can take their bags to more than 50 downtown businesses on Palafox Street for Halloween candy & goodies! Don’t miss out on this fun, family-friendly event!
Sam’s Spooky City – It’s coming! Sam’s Spooky City on October 31, 2016. Gated admission of $16 per person includes unlimited access to rides, special attractions, trick or treating at every ride, and a Spooky Train ride.
