Celebrate the birth of American Independence this 4th of July with friends and family at a backyard barbecue or head out for a baseball game or a concert and fireworks. There are lots of great options if you want to get out and see some beautiful firework displays – Sertoma organizations are coordinating and hosting the largest Fireworks display on the Gulf Coast over Pensacola Bay at 9:00 pm and at 8:30 pm there is fireworks display on Pensacola Beach. There will also be activities throughout the day, from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm, in Seville Square to include a FREE Children’s Area with inflatables, pony rides and more.
The Pensacola Symphony takes the stage on the Fourth of July for a special free event, Symphony Sparks & Stars, celebrating our nation’s Independence Day. At 7:30 there will be a special presentation by the US Marine Corps and the US Navy followed by a patriotic performance of pieces you know and love. The Sertoma Fireworks will begin at 9pm with synchronized music by Cat Country 98.7
You can also view the fireworks while taking a Torchlight Tour or head over to Milton for Riverfest, plus there is an All American BBQ Party & Miss Firecracker Bikini Contest at the Flora-Bama. There are lots of other activities, specials and music acts around town and you can still see the fireworks from most anywhere downtown if you’d prefer to hit Seville Quarter or a local pub, check out the full list of Pensacola 4th of July events below.
