Celebrate the birth of American Independence this 4th of July with friends and family at a backyard barbecue or head out for a baseball game or a concert and fireworks. There are lots of great options if you want to get out and see some beautiful firework displays – Sertoma organizations are coordinating and hosting the largest Fireworks display on the Gulf Coast over Pensacola Bay at 9:00 pm and at 9:30 pm there is fireworks display on Pensacola Beach. There will also be activities throughout the day, from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm, in Seville Square to include a FREE Children’s Area with inflatables, pony rides and more.
The Pensacola Symphony takes the stage on the Fourth of July for a special free event, Symphony Sparks & Stars, celebrating our nation’s Independence Day. At 7:30 there will be a special presentation by the US Marine Corps and the US Navy followed by a patriotic performance of pieces you know and love. The Sertoma Fireworks will begin at 9pm with synchronized music by Cat Country 98.7
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos are playing a home game against the Montgomery Biscuits and they always have a fabulous fireworks display after the game. If you’re not in the mood for baseball you can still see the fireworks from most anywhere downtown if you’d prefer to hit Seville Quarter or a local pub.
